Hi everyone! I’m Emma, a junior Spanish and Business major at Furman. I love being outside and I am very excited to be studying spanish in Chile next semester!

I grew up in St. Charles, IL and Ellicott City, MD. My love for event planning began working with a florist for two years. In addition to working with The Rutherford, I am also interning part-time with Culpepper Designs, so I’m excited to learn more about all the sides of event planning. I hope to stay in Greenville after I graduate, probably pursuing a career in event/wedding planning. I am so grateful for this amazing opportunity, and I can’t wait to work with all the fun people at The Rutherford!
